Preview of Arizona Technology Review Magazine

Friday July 27 by Press Release Submission
With the opening issue of the Arizona Technology Review in October, Arizona will finally have a monthly magazine that is completely focused on technology. will act as the online counterpart for the print publication. A free, no obligation, six-month subscription to the magazine is available by clicking here. Subscribers are also entered into a drawing for a Palm VIIx that will take place on September 15. As part of the preview, the Arizona Technology Review is exhibiting at the Internet Business Expo in Phoenix on July 26th and 27th.

When asked why he started the magazine, Stan Elwood, Publisher of the Arizona Technology Review stated, "Arizona's technology community has grown so much over the past few years. There are many online venues for techies and interested tech business people, but up to now, there hasn't been a print publication directed at their needs. We think the market is overdue for a magazine that goes beyond what the Web can offer. The idea of a print magazine has been met with excitement and support by our initial advertisers and the tech community."

He continued, "There is no stronger endorsement for tech in Arizona than the Arizona Technology Review. When prospective investors or business partners from outside the state can receive and hold a physical magazine in their hands, it validates Arizona as a tech destination."

The theme for the first issue is "The State of Arizona Technology." Upcoming issues will showcase startups, the quest for capital, open source in Arizona, communication technology in the state, and more.

Because of interest in the tech community, the initial circulation will be 24,000. The Arizona Technology Review will be Arizona's only monthly business magazine.
